Grawwnola


Raw Frozen Banana "Ice Cream" and Raw Coconut Raisin "Grawnola"

Maggie's Raw Coconut Raisin "Grawnola":

Dry Ingredients:

  • 1/2 Cup Pumpkin Seeds
  • 3 Cups Almonds, chopped
  • 2/3 Cups Oats
  • 2 Cups Unsweetened Coconut
  • Handful of Raisins
  • 1 Tbsp Flax Seed

Wet Ingredients:

  • 3 Tbsp Agave Nectar
  • 3 Tbsp. Coconut oil
  • 1 Tsp. Vanilla Extract
  • 3/4 Tsp. Sea Salt
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon

Put pumpkin seeds, flax seeds and almonds in food processor and pulse. Add all other dry ingredients, except raisins, in a food processor. Blend until your favorite consistency. Pour in a big bowl and add the bowl of wet ingredients to it.

Spread evenly on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet. Bake in oven at 200 degrees for 20 minutes. ( I don't have a dehydrator). Rake with a spatula the grawnola after 20 minutes then return it to bake for another 5 minutes. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before mixing in the raisins. Allow to cool for 30 minutes then sprinkle it on your favorite frozen banana "ice cream" or pour some almond milk on top of it like cereal!

Not only is this grawnola delicious but it is very healthy!! Your skin will thank you with all this coconut oil and flax seed :)
