Exploring flavors

Birds chirping, kittens running through the rays of the sunrise and the smell of kamut bread being toasted. That pretty much sums up my morning. I also was up quiet early reading and through my studies I've been learning about Central America's Largest Lake...Lake Nicaragua. I have to say that I would love to travel there and explore all the little islands inside the lake. What amazed me is that there is a floating store on a canoe that brings fruits and vegetables to each island to be sold. Floating farmer's market? So unique!

Anyways back to breakfast, I had Kamut Toast with Butter and Raspberry Fruit Spread, Egg Whites and a Tazo Chai Tea.

Yesterday I was debating on whether I should try kamut bread or stick with my old standby.. hemp seed bagels. But after reading an article how the smallest changes, like what you eat or what your house looks like, can give you a different perspective in life I decided to go with the kamut. And wow...am I glad I tried something new!! Its like a hearty sourdough bread but sweet, light and buttery at the same time. I think it would pair perfect with an avocado cheese melt or a bowl of Amy's soup. You NEED to try this bread!!
