English Muffin Black Peppered Egg "Sunflower" Sandwich paired with Raw Almond Butter dipped Carrots
Morning! I really was in need of a pep in my step this morning and thought a breakfast of bright color would do the trick. While I was decided on what to make I thought of how sunflowers always put a smile on my face so I made a breakfast that reminded me of them. Normally I don't like egg yolk but for some reason I was really craving it..so I went with it and it was yummy! I pulled a Kath and topped my carrot with almond butter..the combination is divine..you must try it! Waking up to this much color really adds some sunshine to my Saturday. What colors do you find yourself eating for breakfast? I put together a little egg tutorial that I will be posting Monday morning!
Enjoy your Saturday :)

soo yummy!
ReplyDeletecarrots and almond butter are heavenly together!
ReplyDeleteShades of brown, yellow and/or pink usually make an appearance! As in oats, some type of nut butter, bananas and/or apples are usually my go-to breakfast ingredients. :)
ReplyDeletelove your breakfast inspiration. i guess my breakfasts are somewhat devoid of color...black coffee, beige oats, tan nut butters. but i get my color in later in the day. :)
ReplyDeletethanks for such a kind comment on my blog on friday - you really made me smile. xo!
