Cinnamon Old Fashion Oats with Almond Butter and Plump Raisins
Hey everybody! Can I just say...its almost the weekend!! Yes!! Well it represents to me more packing but atleast a girl can sleep in a bit, right? On to breakfast! Can you believe its taken me six months to finish this jar of almond butter? But then again, nine months ago I would have never even dreamed of having a spoonful let alone a jar...so at least its some what an accomplishment. Here's to looking at the jar "half full" hehe!
Going through my fridge this morning I've realized I really need to start finishing one before starting another. Right now I am down to TJ's Raw Crunchy Almond Butter, and PB&Co's Dark Chocolate and White chocolate. Anyone have any favorites I should try once I'm out? I really want to taste something new! Maybe pecan butter? For breakfast I kept it really simple with a some classy old fashion oats and raisins, always does the trick! And before I forget the sweet Mitri choose me for the "Over the Top award", I usually like to keep things as personal as possible but this looked too fun. Thanks girl! I had a real problem with the single word requirement to the questions but I gave it my best go...

well any nut butter suggestions...hmmm i love maranatha raw creamy almond butter, and i love cashew butter, i have the 365 whole foods brand, its really good, and also artisan walnut butter is amazing as well, but i also want to try the pecan butter, love pecans.

ReplyDeletei too never would have thought i would finish a jar or even have 1 tbsp or anything of nut butters about a year ago! go us! it is an accomplishment. ;)
ah, nut butter suggestions, i love the Futters hazelnut butter, and maybe a sort of raw cashew butter like maranatha.i know u love cashews ;)i also have the artisina walnut butter but i WANT the pecan like you said(love pecans!) :) so many diff options, and making your own is fun! and you could maybe buy from the bulk bin at WF a lot of nut and give it a go? lol...so many suggestions. ok ok..well..:)

Pecan butter sounds like it would be so delish! I've only ever tried peanut and almond butter :O
I haven't had the opportunity to try others yet. Had Nutella for the first time yesterday.
But I've always wanted to try cashew butter or sunflower seed butter. Even soy nut butter!

Darn, im seventh. Oh well, i guess if i were a day... at least I get some rest (lol). I would say take a stab at some Maranatha Cashew Butter, its definitely a fave... but pecan butter sounds awesome!!! I miss nutella (random).
