Swirls

After a late night shopping spree with my Pops at Trader Joe's I woke up to a fridge full of autumn essentials. Seriously whats fall without butternut squash, pumpkin butter and blueberry cinnamon cereal? My favorite thing to do is look through the goodies he picks up and try things I've never thought of buying. This morning I knew exactly what I was going to "steal"...cinnamon swirl bread!

Classic Cinnamon French Toast
What could be better then to have your dad make you breakfast! He soaked three slices of bread in a egg and vanilla like mixture for two minutes each. Then on a flat pan he cooked each one until a golden crust. I shudder at the life I had before this bread...its like a cinnamon roll for breakfast, I went to heaven! I know whats going to be dessert for now on ;) Gotta go get a skinny vanilla latte and "browse" the local target! Happy Friday everyone!

  1. dads makes such great breakfasts:)!! my dad has a crepe pan and he made me crepes when i was little all the time, with just butter,cinnamon,and sugar :) yumm..

    love your french toast breakfast looks amzing, and whats better than RE-stocking at TJoes for fall essential foods! so fun!

  4. Wow! I wish my dad would make French toast. But I do have to give my dad props for making the best latkes EVER!!! It's seriously one of my favorite breakfasts of all time. And everyone knows that I pretty much get the whole batch when he makes them :D
