Ezekiel English Muffin, one side Cooked Yolk Egg with Apple Butter and the other Raspberry Jam. With Blueberry Green Tea and a Organic Braeburn Apple.
Yum! Very much the opposite of mustard and ketchup, no? But nevertheless the contrast of the two colors always wins my heart. This morning was too great for words...English muffins? Oh joy! The last time I had one was back on October and that's way too long in my book. As for the weekend it started out strangely...the storms kept me inside all day Saturday and the only achievement was bundling up to get the mail..but I did receive something really special, more on that later though. Sunday was brilliant, I found a black faux fur Russian hat, walked around an lake I didn't know existed and ate a broccoli Mexican burrito the size of my arm! I also played 15 games of scrabble, roasted kabocha and watched a few Elizabeth Taylor movies...love! But sadly amongst all this I woke up this morning physically feeling terrible, I must have got a cold from yesterday. Oh well, more relax time for me I suppose. Whats the highlight of your weekend? What are your go-to cold remedies?
PS: I have been receiving some of your emails and I will get to them soon!

ReplyDeletethat English muffin brekkie looks delicious! Ezekiel English muffins are my absolute favorite!

Yum, indeed!!
ReplyDeleteLOOOVE Elizabeth Taylor's films - enjoy!!
You know my remedies - rest, hydrate, relax. BREATHE :)
The favorite part of my weekend is not using an alarm and lounging in my pjs as long as I want. I'm really looking forward to my winter break since it will basically be a very long and lovely weekend.
ReplyDeleteTo fix the sniffles, I'm a big advocate for lots of tea and lots of sleep. A little hibernation usually gets me back to health pretty quickly.
Drink lots of yummy tea, eat good food with lots of vitamin c, and have a nice indulging rest. I really like how your breakfast looks like:)
ReplyDeleteFirst off, I love mustard AND ketchup. Mixed together. On a vege burger-- YUM
ReplyDeleteSecondly, I am an advocate of tea and ice cream. Rain, sun, snow, sleet and hot or cold. (I'm a unique one, that's for sure)
Thirdly, I hope you're staying warm!
tons of love,
bec
The K&M color combo is always a winner. I hope you feel better ASAP!! It pains me to hear you aren't 100%
ReplyDelete:(
(ps- love the Charlie Brown Mug)
The blueberry tea sounds yummy!
ReplyDeleteI love your english muffin half and half mixes. Blueberry tea sounds so divine...as does a day inside watching Elizabeth Taylor movies! Have you seen "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" or "Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?"
ReplyDeleteFor cold remedies (I think I'm coming down with one too, boo), I rely on extra sleep first and foremost, water, vitamin water, green tea, and steamy showers (to break up congestion).
