Thursday

Jason Mraz and Lentil Dal

Just a quick post before I go catch up with a friend....This afternoon I was on a mission to get some fresh produce cheap and quick but before I went I had a little snack.

Pre-shopping fuel of Raw Cacao Fudge with Cashew Sprinkles. Washed down with a Botanic Ginger Kombucha.

Two hours, one almost car accident and 12 sing along songs to Jason Mraz later...

The goodies!! + Organic Brown Eggs not shown.

After putting away all the groceries in their proper drawers I got to work on dinner. I wanted to recreate the lentil dal I had from an amazing Persian restaurant I visited a few days ago but I also was craving coconut milk...thus coconut lentil dal was born.

Coconut Lentil Dal with Roasted Garam Masala Spiced Kabocha and a Thyme Infused Massaged Kale Salad

So so so good! More words tomorrow. xoxo Maggie
