One Zero One Ten

Crumbled Chocolate Heart Thrive on top of Pumpkin Pie Granola and a pillow of Vanilla Hemp Creme. Topped with Fresh Banana Slices and a side of English Tea.

Hello two thousand and ten! What will you bring? How will my life go? Are my dreams close at hand? Will you encompass everything I've hoped for? Is it safe to say you'll be filled with memories? I can't wait to map out my journey this year! Embraces, Maggie

Good morning everyone! Waking up I had a craving for pumpkin and chocolate but being that I forgot to stock up on canned pumpkin before winter I'm all out. Sad! Well that wasn't going to stop me so I crumbled my last Heart Thrive and mixed it with a bit of pumpkin granola...delicious! I hope I can find more of those cakes again, they've become a comfort food that reminds me of baking cookies as a child. Lovely flavors! I also served it on top of a pillow of unsweetened vanilla hemp milk , the gums, melted banana and some protein powder all whipped up with my hand blender. Result? A fluffy rain cloud of chocolate and pumpkin! I love how I can find beauty in any food :)

Another thing I love is making one of a kind pieces to add a level of effortless glamour to any girl's vintage collection. This lovely thing was made over thanksgiving break and obviously was influenced by festive fall colors.

Vtg Seagold Trim Headband- Inspired by this dress made with vintage materials and gold chain accents. Now up for grabs at my shop!

This is going to be the first and last time I put up photos on my blog of things being sold because after all this is a breakfast blog! But I thought it would be an excellent time to open shop the first of the year and make note of it! All selling items will be announced on My Breakfast Shop blog for now on. Another thing before I forget, last night I got to a little frenzy with buttons, vintage tapestry and ribbons...so consider seeing more headbands and one of a kind necklaces more frequent :)

How are you spending your first day of the year? Did you forget to stock up on pumpkin before the season ended? xoxo

  13. That headband is too cute! I love headbands but I can never figure out how to make them look good in my hair. :S Practice makes perfect I suppose. Geesh, who needs to practice putting on a headband?

I spent the first day of 2010 doing nothing. Slept in until 10, lounged in my pajamas until 4.. oh yes, it has been a fine day! Now I plan to read and write in my journal. :)

  16. The chocolate heart thrive is my last one :( so sad. I spent my first day of 2010 napping, trying to make up for my horrible lack of sleep.
