Something to Believe In

Belief is defined as a state or habit of mind in which trust or confidence is placed in some person or thing.
It has to start somewhere. A thought, an emotion or the sight of your iron deficient over bruised skin. What do you believe in?

I believe in strength. Being able to tap on my toes all two minutes of Footloose and do all my round kicks better then the other boys.
I believe in health. Eating every three hours without fail. Providing my body with the nourishing nutrients that it needs to function brilliantly.

I believe in happiness. Having something to smile about, no matter how little it is, is worth living for.

I believe in love. Certain people become the biggest blessings and the only way we can show appreciation for it is love. Love with your whole heart and never look back.

I believe in beauty. Shreds of colorful paper, the sound of a hummingbird's wings make when they fly by, or freckles that take the place of blush. True beauty is often overlooked.

I believe in myself. Getting well is within my power I just have to keep going, keep pushing forward. Everyday I gain a piece of myself back and if that isn't worth the journey..I don't know what else is.

The Belief Bracelet
-
These one of a kind red scarlet organic cotton bracelets are ten strand flat braided with belief. Each strand is made with each of your believes, all being interwoven to represent yourself and what you stand for. Representing the beauty of the journey a beautiful hand carved wooden round bead hand painted with aqua paint attached at the end of each bracelet.

What do you believe in? I ask each one of you to question yourself as to what you put your trust and confidence in...what keeps your hopes alive? What do you believe in? Please join me this week by linking to this post under the word "Believe". Some girl, some guy, somebody may need something to believe in. Love you, Maggie

PS: Hand sketched belief gift wrapping for all readers who type the words "BELIEVE" in an etsy email upon checkout. :) Also thanks for all the questions!

I believe in you. I have been reading this blog for a long time, way before I found the courage to comment or start my own. I have seen you grow more than you can imagine, and I am so pleased to see you affirm your faith in yourself.

  18. Wow - such beautiful words, sweetie! This made my entire day! All of these are so very true....but I think belief in oneself is above all most important. If you believe in YOU the rest will follow! Thank you for this :-)

  19. Gorgeous post, with very inspirational words. I share your beliefs as well, especially the belief in oneself. As Ashley indicated above, believing in yourself creates a very positive ripple effect in others.

    Have a beautiful day!
