Cocoa Bliss Buckwheat Granola with Homemade Pumpkin Spice Sunflower Seed Butter. A fluff of Whipped Banana and Greek Yogurt topped with Cinnamon and Spiced Agave.

Anyone else excited about the new Alice in Wonderland movie? I am!! Running low on sunflower seed butter always makes me nervous...after all it is my favorite nut butter...but I know running low on cash is even more nerve racking. So yesterday I decided to pull out my dusted old tiny food processor and get to work. I threw in a heft amount of sunflower seeds, a medley of spices and some honey. Tasting it I was surprised how much it reminded me of pumpkin pie...why is fall over? Definitely a butter that's worthy of any breakfast. As for the granola...Whats not to love, crunchy, chewy and chocolatey..that just sums up the best cereal ever.

Besides making some delicious concoctions this week I also have been up to treasure hunting at my favorite shops. I've been asked a few times if I ever want to keep the things I sell...and the answer is of course! When I shop I'm always looking for things I like because that's what I'm proud to sell. But I have so many treasures around me in need of a new life/home, I can only imagine the love they will receive in another girl's collection. And when in doubt I just buy myself a little something every few months :) While we are on the topic of treasure hunting...

Bird Egg Gold Dusted Necklace-Glorious bird egg like bead necklace sprinkled with gold dust.Vintage from the 1960's. SOLD.

Yesterday on formspring I was also asked what is my inspiration for the jewelry I do make..I mentioned that I usually have a story for every piece so I thought I should share a bit about this piece. I found it in a little brick square shop on the side of a dusty road next to a closed school. Among many butterfly pedant necklaces and antique lace doyleys it was hanging perfectly. Thoughts of my Grandmother's collection of costume jewelry in her hand carved wood box crossed my mind. I could imagine her wearing this and her best dress to her first date with a solider at swanky dinning hall. Classy, charm and sparkle!

Fortunate enough for you this week is all about story telling pieces. Look at these beauties! Also free gift wrapping will continue for all my readers when you enter the word "Believe" in an etsy email to me. Off to make some Brazilian Nut Vanilla Ice Cream. Drool worthy no? xoxo

Today I believe- Light at the end of the tunnel. What do you believe?
