Cinnamon Multi Grain Flakes with Warm Cashew Oat Milk with two Medjool Dates stuffed with Sea Salt and White Chocolate Peanut Butter on my great grandmother's floral plate wear from Italy passed down to me.
If I could describe myself in one word it would be timeless. Or at least that's what I strive to be. Can a person be timeless although they are susceptible to time? I believe so since my grandmother is the perfect example of it.

Timeless gifts from her.
Since I can hardly remember tutus were worn and dances were collaborated while eating stuffed chicken sandwiches with rosemary from her garden. Hours of trying on soft lace cotton dresses and standing on a box just tall enough for her to mend the seams was a constant occurrence.

Her favorite clothing items as a young girl.
We would spend countless days talking about the importance of Hello Kitty stationary and swapped stories of our preteen years over bubbly raspberry Italian soda as I grew older. To this day we still cuddle up on her big bright yellow floral couch and surprise each other with gift exchanges.

Her head wrap from her high school years.
Although shes aware there is never talk of age, never talk of time. She lives in the moment and excels in it brilliantly. Even her beautiful gifts reflects her respect for the past but the embrace of the present. My grandmother is the ultimate showcase of the word timeless. I could even go as far as saying her name should be permanently placed under the word in all lands.

My version of timeless accessories-Swede slate gray pumps and blush pink floral clips.
As I said before..I'm striving to be timeless as well. Often my stumbling block is acception of the past and the anxiety of the future that holds me back from enjoying the present. But I think with more effort and more influence I too will be able to gift my grandchildren things that I once wore with nothing but a smile on my face and some rosemary from my garden in a sandwich.
