But what gets me the most interested in a persons style is more than clothes and jewelry..I love the little quirks of the kind of jam they choose in the morning to the forks they plate with their pancakes for brunch. The lovely Miss Rhiannon was kind enough to invite me for breakfast...without the plane ticket and the fuss of what to wear we had quiet the conversation over virtual tea. Enjoy!

Looking at your style it seems your aesthetic is very much nested in the lovely eras of the past. Would you say your food choices are as well?
I never really thought about that before, but I guess my food choices are really old-fashioned since I like simple things best. I don't really go in for fancy cooking or anything, and when I bake I like to make things that could be in a '30s cookbook. The other day I made a carrot cake and there was something so nice and wholesome about it--it was the simplest recipe in the world, and I wondered how many women in aprons made the same thing over the last 50 years.

Whats your usual morning meal look like?
I'm such a creature of habit that during the week I have the same thing every single morning: coffee and toast with some type of jam. Usually it's strawberry though lately I've been shaking things up with blackberry and apple butter. During the weekend I'm with my boyfriend and it just depends on what we're doing. Sometimes we'll go out for proper breakfast, but lots of times we just go to this amazing nearby coffee shop called Octane and get an Americano and a muffin. I've been obsessed with baking this year too so lately I've been making muffins almost every weekend . . . blueberry muffins with lots of cinnamon and really terrible for you streusel topping are my favorites. Coffee shops usually have bad blueberry muffins (too lemony) so I just get bran muffins because you never expect anything too wonderful from a bran muffin.

So if you could have the ideal breakfast/brunch would would it consist of?
My parents make homemade cinnamon rolls every Christmas and Easter morning and they remind me of being a kid and excited for the holiday, so I'd have to say cinnamon rolls and coffee.
If you had a morning tea party and could invite one famous person, alive or not, who would it be?
I'm definitely not a morning person, so I think I'd invite the silent film star Mabel Normand, who doesn't seem like she was much of a morning person either. I think we could just be sort of grumpy until we had our coffee, and then she could tell jokes and we'd probably skip the tea and have donuts and coffee instead.

Name one ingredient you couldn't live without.
Does coffee count? Well honestly, sugar.
