Crumbled Pumpkin Date Coconut Flour Muffins and Baked Apple over Cinnamon Yogurt
In and out of the urgent care this week has brought me to a different point in my life. (I have postherpetic neuralgia) I've come to see that once I do get better I want change. I want to be like I use to be in the effect of being somewhat carefree. I precisely remember the day that I looked in the mirror in a airplane restroom and said to myself "no more happiness, its time to be serious" and since then I really have made a huge turnaround in my life and become a better person. Long story short I had to get more serious and mature in a lot of ways. And thank goodness I had the chance to fully develop as a person...as an individual! But with all that aside I think I'm now ready to be happy again...to be some what carefree.

I've noticed through blogging this year that I've become my own person. I can identify exactly what things I like and dislike and I'm not afraid to speak out if I need to. But maybe that comes with age. The other day I was questioned on why I am vegetarian and for once I truly knew I chose this lifestyle because its something I want..not something I forced myself to like because it was the "cool thing" to do. Even with bigger issues like friendships and family I know where I stand and I'm proud of my decisions.

Where I'm going at with all of this is that I want change. I'm finally in a place in my life that I'm secure as to who I am and where I'm going..that I'm ready to embrace a fuller life. I'm going to be twenty in a few days for goodness sakes! I want to continue to express myself through words and clothing but maybe incorporate my new journey though life more on my blog. Once I get healthy I want to take my readers out to my world..around nature where I find the most inspiration, in my closet where I spend hours dreaming, on long road trips where I find the most comfort. For so long I kept everything indoors while I sorted through myself and fixed things but now I'm ready..ready to embrace life again! Sometimes I might post here or there..as my health gets better but I really hope everyone comes along in the journey no matter what comes of it. Soon I will post daily I promise!

Just as my life is subject to change my blog is as well. And I thought this would be the perfect time for a FAQ about myself/my blog. Any modest questions are open for answering as well as ideas about future posts on My Breakfast Blog. Even if you don't feel like leaving a question leave me a comment about yourself..I'd love to learn more about whose reading!
Love, M

Question: If you could throw a dinner party for any 6 well known people, dead or alive, who would they be and what would you serve?
ReplyDeleteComment about me: I just moved into a house with 7 other vegetarian/vegan activists and artists. We're called the Weeping Hippos. It was such a great decision and I couldn't be happier with this aspect of my life.
Question: What are you most looking forward to this summer?
ReplyDeleteComment: I sent you an email a few days ago ;)

i need to be more serious sometimes but being silly is always good of course, but for me, some maturity is needed!
also I can relate with the vegetarianism i am the same, it is just the way Eliza wants to eat, not driven by any outside influence/pressure or my ed at all.

ReplyDeleteI haven't read too much of your blog yet, so you may have answered this somewhere already, but my question is...What would be in YOUR perfect bowl of oatmeal.

ReplyDeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteI've never seen your blog before, but the title of your breakfast made me smile. And then your thoughts made me follow you, without looking at any other posts.
I really love this post!
Sometimes I wonder if I put too much emphasis on blogging, and if it has to big of a spot in my life as far as figuring out myself and becoming "my own person", but no.
It totally makes sense, and I'm glad to hear your thoughts on this too!
Everyone's comments about themselves are soooo interesting! Thank you for the awesome questions..an faq post is in the works!
