Thursday

It all started with a breakfast

It all started with one bowl. One thought.

It all started with one spoon. One goal.

It all started with a slice of a fruit. One feeling.

It all started with a cold liquid. One tear.

It all started with a breakfast. One breakdown.

Looking back now I see the long road I took to sorting out my emotions that seem to be so intertwined with my appetite. Little steps taken everyday this bowl of grains, earths candy and spice were and are still so revolutionary. I use to only be able to see that in retrospect, not so much in the moment. Why wait though? Each day is an accomplishment so instead of waiting far off in the future..be proud of yourself right now. Be proud of every meal, every dessert, every flavor, every curve..just be proud of yourself!

Whats something revolutionary you've done today?

  2. Loved this post! so inspirational. proud of yourself right now. Be proud of every meal, every dessert, every flavor, every curve..just be proud of yourself!<----:) amazing.

something revolutionary i did today was i embraced the compliments of "you look amazing!!" from my former (favorite) teacher who i went to visit this morning. Instead of my ED telling me i was "fat" bc i looked "amazing" i thought positive and embraced that looking good is good(obviously ;P
Oh and i bought a coconut lemon muffin at the farmers market this morning too! a challenge but can't wait to have it later. "be proud of every meal!" :)

I am proud because, I ate lunch, although I didn`t feel like eating, but my body needed it.
I am proud because, I made myself a shake (which I normally don`t like) and really enjoyed it!

  5. this really was an inspirational post. i am a huge fan of your blogs, despite the fact i don't often comment! you're so right though. if we can't be proud of ourselves, who CAN we be proud of? i think the one thing i'm proud of today is finding the tv remote after three days of it being lost ! WOOO! x

  9. When I read "every curve" I thought of it abstractly. Like a curve in the path to recovery, since it's never a clear cut straight line. I kind of like thinking of it that way. Embrace the unanticipated obstacles that may cause you to re-route your course.
