Monday

Happy Monday!

{Raw Buckwheat Groats, Chia Seed, Vanilla Hemp and Pea Protein & Apple Pie Prana Bar}

Happy Monday!! Surprised you, didn't I? Yesterday's colors and food choices were too beautiful not to share. I woke up and had the best thing since sliced bread...a bowl of buckwheat groats! Seriously they were better than oats and it's not just because I found out I'm gluten intolerant. News flash...I know! I soaked them in a new vanilla vegan protein powder that had hemp and pea protein in it. So delicious! I topped this baby off with an apple pie Prana Bar and called it the creamiest breakfast I've had in a long time. Loved the apple bites but missed some of the flavors associated with apple pie. Maybe it needed more cinnamon? I just have to mention that the fuchsia wrapper was enough for me to want to buy it again. Who doesn't love something wrapped in pink? I was off to the farmers market with a basket and twenty bucks in my pocket.

  1. One thing im excited about today? Reading your blog! (though some of your photos didnt show up? boo!) I love your pictures and musings, so pretty! Where do you live if you dont mind me asking? I find it so hard to pick up things like chia seeds and protein powders here in the UK without orders them online!

  3. As a fellow gluten intolerant person, I know your pain! But finding out that you are gluten intolerant will answer a lot of health questions. And it seems that your diet would be fairly easy to adapt. ;-)
