Memories and Materials

There is something so appealing to me about having my own little closet shop. Yes I have had many vintage shops in the past but to have one that contains my lived in personal treasures up for others to make apart of their own collection..its so intimate and glamorous that I can't say it even stands as a contender besides a vintage shop. They each have their place I suppose! I will always have my Florachild shop but I am very envious of those blogger closet shops..who doesn't want a piece of someone's world? I love a good worn in white tee or an leather messenger bag that just says its been loved and lived in! I mean thats why girlfriends always borrow each other's clothes right? I do! That being said, I was looking around my own shop and deciding what are items that I have strong attachments too. Obviously I could name handfuls but with summer coming, I know its winter....let me dream, I started to remember my past memories with a few...there is such beauty pieces that I am dying to find homes...currently these two lovelies...

Peach Tree- vintage 70's beach bum rag rug peach stripes knot dress

Many summer hot weekdays lounging in this beside a sound machine of an ocean..dazing off into the distant while dreaming of frozen raspberry drinks beside my straw bag full of magazine tears.

Celsia Flowers -seven crush rock ring in ocean colors

These were made on a mid afternoon just before the orange hue of the sun came out to play shadows, rock hunting in deserted glass yards. Worn with cocktail dresses and worn in leather boots. The perfect echo of the ocean and sky.

Do you think it would be a stellar idea to make a closet shop of all my personal treasures? Love to know your opinion! xoxo M

  2. I´m so happy with the Flora Child tin box with pictures of a girl, of flowers and of all kinds of cute little things. It now has it´s place in my kitchen in my little apartment here in Sweden.
