Dream Life Life

Morning! Lately I've really been trying to switch up my routine outfits (jean skirt, utility jacket, black ballet flats), quick dinners after a long day (black beans, brown rice, carrots and salsa) and my self inflicted stressful chores that really never need to be done daily..maybe just weekly. Do you ever find vacations so relaxing just because of that one thing..your routines are completely changed? I'm trying to channel that thinking in my daily life and it seems to be working. Life is short.

Best combination ever! I made my fermented bread with this recipe but let it ferment for three days since I love the tangy/yeasty flavor of sourdough. I always make a slice just with savory toppings, and the other with sweet. If you haven't ever had fermented bread your in for a treat, and its full of probiotics.
My favorite breakfast lately comprises of fermented foods for my tummy and lots of avocados. I've eliminated fruit from my diet recently because I, once again, have not been feeling well. We will see how it works out but I miss bananas and apples like crazy!!
Speaking of fermented foods...my beloved kombucha brew - this one is an original kombucha brewed in yerba mate - a little sweet for my taste but it's the ultimate gift for a raw foodie like me...which means my mom is getting a special delivery soon :)

I am drooling just looking at this picture again, how can I ever replicate this? It had slices of avocado, fresh organic tomatoes on this divine spread of cashew based hummus and flax seed bread. Oh and I can't forget the onion sprouts! Mmmmm.

Another fantastic combination of my healthy greens and fermented foods. Have you ever heard of white chia seeds? They are the same thing as the black ones but they look pretty in this lightening, no? Nothing like a pure greens drink to wake you up. It was hard to drink down without frozen banana being blended in but I know its best for me right now. And actually I'm getting use to what its like to not over season and over sweeten everything, its therapeutic in a sense.
