Welcome to My Breakfast Blog. My name is Megan, mostly known by my nickname Maggie. I'm quiet the daydreamer, birdie lover, oatmeal fanatic, button collecting, blunt bangs kind of girl. My inspirations change daily as I grasp the world of texture, sounds and experiences all around me. Moody photography, simple lyrics and trying new cafes gets me going every morning. I'm amazed by bright mustard colored things, worn in leather bags and how avocados are the best fruit known to man. The past two years have been a whirlwind of life - I've experienced a lifetime of emotions. Look through my archives and you will feel each tear and smile. I believe in strong friends, never watching a movie alone and a great plate of pasta. I surround myself with pretty things, wear many rings and love warm sunset dinners. I am a twenty something person in a new chapter of my existence sharing my experiences while striving for an optimistic wholesome environment. I love every part of life and I hope to share my beautiful world with you.
What originally started as an fashion blog, sleepdreamdress, slowly transitioned into an inspirational photography blog. One day I woke up and decided to make mornings that much more special and take the time to perfect my breakfast making skills. Years later now I am branching out to different types of cultural foods, trying new restaurants and simplifying complicated dishes for my every day meals. After going to Italy this year I fell madly in love with simple fresh ingredients and I'm making in a point to always kindle that love by visiting local farmers markets to make new dishes.
I daydream on the train of traveling to Turkey for purple scarfs, swimming in the sea at sunset in Greece and sleeping in a house above water in Thailand. I am not in any rush to achieve these dreams as I take each day as it comes. But when it does it will be bliss. I have solid faith that the world will get better, things will change and we will one day all have the chance to achieve our biggest dreams. Just embrace where your at and enjoy things as they come. Always be thankful.
This is my simply complex journal of daily muses, sweet recipes and most inner thoughts. Every meaningful morning starts with a great conversation, inspirational lyrics and a delicious breakfast.
